Minecraft


It happens to a lot of us: you sit down to play for, say, five minutes. The game loads and -- woah, it's been an hour. Oops. Plenty of games can draw in players like this - it's probably a good thing, it means they're good. Minecraft, for example, can envelope players so completely that they might care more about their character being hungry than their own next meal. They might spend hours traversing the landscape without actually getting up and getting some quick exercise. This raises a question: is Minecraft dangerous? Maybe, but when you see creations like:





, you have to consider the game's ability to inspire creativity, problem solving and dedication to large projects in its players.
